As Leader of the Council I am delighted to invite you to send a question or comment to me on any aspect of the Council's functions - your concerns about the Borough or even your own personal questions that you are unable to obtain an answer to from other public sector sources. I will endeavour to answer within five working days, but it might take slightly longer if some research has to be carried out. Obviously vexatious and frivolous questions will not be responded to as you will all appreciate.
Ask Councillor Roy Bullock - Leader of the Council So what are your questions and comments about how the Council has to follow the prescripitive advice from Central Government?
What are your questions and comments on the Inspectors report of the South East Strategic Plan where they say we should not be precious about the Green Belt or our heritage, and then say we should provide 1,000 more houses on top of the 5,000 already decreed in the plan?
Again, what do you have to say about the manner in which the Council is under continuous Scrutiny by the Audit Commission? Our staff are almost continuously preparing for the next inspection and this reduces the amount of time they have for the day job, which cannot be a good omen for customer care. Or is it?
If you experience any technical problems be sure to let us know on 01892 526121 or e-mail pressoffice@tunbridgewells.gov.uk.
