Mayor’s Christmas Message

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the Borough for coming together to support one another during this very difficult time.  It has been heart-warming to discover what a caring community we have.  Our residents have been truly amazing, from NHS and key workers to our wonderful volunteers.

All our lives have been affected and changed by the current situation and our heartfelt thoughts go to families and friends who have lost loved ones, and those enduring separation, illness, and job losses.

I hope that we can come through this together, stronger, more resilient and continue to support each other locally.

Please take good care of your health and the health of others and stay safe.
