Monday volunteers

Volunteering in Dunorlan Park gives you an opportunity to get involved in looking after the beloved park, helping to maintain its natural and landscaped beauty for current and future generations to enjoy.

Regular volunteering tasks include clearance of brambles, weeding, pruning, coppicing and help in maintenance of the gardens to the standards required by the Britain in Bloom and the Green Flag Award. We often team up with Kent High Weald Partnership and do interesting conservation projects together.

The volunteering sessions take place on Mondays, all year round, between 9.30am and 12.30pm. The meeting point is the Dunorlan Café. Tools and protective equipment including gloves are provided. A tools talk is given on the safe use of the tools, and the staff will help out throughout the day. Refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits!) are served during the mid-morning break.
