Cultural strategy

Culture is a part of everyday life, it contributes to our economy, creates a sense of place and enables people to work, learn, play and create together. It is one of the things that makes life better.

We have been listening to local communities and business to create the strategy. It outlines our ambitions, the regions cultural strengths and the challenges that we face. We believe that there is more we can do.

The strategy is set within a national and regional framework and is key to the delivery of our five year plan and contributes to Kent County Council’s Cultural Strategy.
