TW Social launches family adventure guide

A family adventure guide to help local families get out and about across Tunbridge Wells has been launched through TW Social.

For many families the last few months have been very challenging, with parents juggling home schooling and work commitments as well as managing family life. The team at TW Social have created the ‘50 things to do in the borough this summer’ guide to help families manage the challenges and enjoy the many local attractions around the borough. The guide can be downloaded from the 50 things to do in the borough this summer page of the TW Social website.

The guide has suggestions for both indoor and outdoor activities, that are free or involve very minimal cost. As well as activity suggestions, there are listings for playgrounds, recreation grounds, woodlands and open spaces that families can explore together. How many can you complete over the summer?

TW Social is also inviting families to share their adventures by sending in pictures of their days out. Pictures should be emailed to twsocial@tunbridgewells.gov.uk, and the best will be shared on TW Social.

It is advisable to check opening hours and booking requirements before traveling. Remember to stay safe when out and about, wearing face coverings when required, observing social distancing and cleaning your hands regularly.

The Council launched TW Social, a new community website, in April to help combat the social isolation and loneliness many people were experiencing during lockdown.
