Mental Health Awareness Week

This week (18-22 May) is Mental Health Awareness Week across the UK.

Mindful that wellbeing and good mental health is more important than ever in the challenging circumstances of the coronavirus outbreak, the Council is encouraging people to take care of their mental health.

This theme is picked up in the latest TW Talking podcast available on the TW Social website, the new community site developed to support wellbeing during the outbreak. The podcast features hosts Stef and Gemma talking about kindness, which is the central message of this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week.

TW Social also has a section dedicated to MHA week with information and activities designed to promote positive mental health and wellbeing. Mental health support is also available 24/7 through Release the Pressure. Text the word Kent to 85258 or phone 0800 107 0160 for free confidential support at any time.
