Local Government Reorganisation engagement events
A programme of engagement events is planned to talk about what Local Government Reorganisation means to you.
As the public consultation on Local Government Reorganisation continues, the Council has pulled together a series of engagement events where residents can come and speak to Councillors about the upcoming changes in person.
Local Government Reorganisation is a national programme of change aimed to improve local government services by replacing two-tier county, borough and district councils with single-tier unitary authorities.
Residents who would like to attend an online engagement session can connect via Teams on Wednesday 4 March at 3pm or 6pm:
In-person engagement events will run at:
- Royal Victoria Place on Saturday 7 March from 10am to 2pm
- Cranbrook Co-Op on Saturday 14 March from 10am to 12pm
- Paddock Wood Waitrose on 21 March from 1pm to 3pm
