Paddock Wood Parish Poll 15 January 2019

Following the Paddock Wood Town Council meeting held on Wednesday 19 December 2018, a Parish Poll has been requested.

The Parish Poll will ask the following question:

‘Is The Memorial Playing Field the right place to build the new Paddock Wood Community Centre?  Yes/No.’

The Parish Poll will be administered by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s Returning Officer who has a statutory duty to run such polls.  It will be conducted in accordance with The Parish and Community Meetings (Polls) Rules 1987.

This means that the hours of the poll are from 4pm to 9pm, no poll cards can be issued and there is no provision for postal or proxy votes. Also, there is also no provision to include late additions added to the electoral register; this means that the register to be used at the poll will be the one in force as at 2 January 2019. It will not include anyone who was added to the register after that date.

If you would normally vote at The Winter Hall, St Andrew’s Church Hall, Maidstone Road, Paddock Wood TN12 6DY then you will vote at the Day Centre, Dowding House, Commercial Road, Paddock Wood TN12 6DP.

If you normally vote at the Day Centre, Dowding House, Commercial Road, Paddock Wood TN12 6DP then you will vote there.
