Flooding in Tunbridge Wells February 2020

Further rain is forecast across Kent up to and including Monday and the Met Office have issued amber weather warnings for rain.

If you live in a known flood risk area, please adopt a self-help approach by purchasing sandbags from your local builders merchants, making up a flood kit, and know where to turn off your gas and electricity.

If you or your neighbours are in immediate danger of flooding, call the Emergency Services on 999.

If your home is in immediate danger of flooding call us on 01892 526121. Although we do not have a statutory duty to provide sandbags, we will try to support our residents during times of imminent flooding.

You can find more information on what to do in the event of flooding in our Flooding in Tunbridge Wells page as well as a short downloadable guide for residents and a guide on how to prepare, respond and recover from surface water.
